We are getting ready for Pesach and the Stark invasion aka our Seder with Grandpa Paul, Aunt Sacha and her family, Aunt Hannah and Uncle Phil.
Thank G-d the Ikea near us reopened after being closed for a year and a half due to a fire. Shalom and I ran there during school hours yesterday and picked up some necessities as well as an easel, which Grunta Judy asked us to get for Lev years ago. Well, better late than never. The kids love it. Thanks Grunta Judy and Gruncle Richie! Lev drew the house and Estie drew a self portrait. Beepsie tuned herself into the Joker.
Yesterday was Lev and Estie's last day of school until after Passover. They made little Moses dolls in baskets made from walnut shells floating down the river. They also made a 'real' river in the yard of their gan and floated a doll down it. Lev, of course, fell into the water.
Today we took them (and Michael) t to Jerusal to buy ground carp for gefilte fish, a garlic wreath and some other necessities for the holiday. I can honestly say that I do not miss living in the city at all.
