So, it would seem that we have a home full of hilarious little people. Yesterday, Chaya Bracha put on Lev's John Deere hat and just cracked herself up. It was pretty cute.
Lev has had a rough few days. He came down with a fever on Tuesday morning and yesterday we went to the doctor, who did that thing where he pushed on his face, glands, neck, chest and stomach to see what hurt. Needless to say, a lot hurt and Lev was pretty upset. The only upside was that they didn't take his blood, which was something he was quite worried about. The blood tests came today. I wasn't going to tel him ahead of time and get him through the x-rays before discussing the blood work, but when I told him we needed to go see a doctor this morning he immediately asked 'Will they take my blood?' and I couldn't exactly lie. This lead to lots of crying before we even left the apartment. In the end, he survived it all and got this great new Playmobil toy as a prize. We told him he could pick out anything from the toy store and this was the winner.
Tomorrow is ultrasound day on his neck and stomach and hopefully we'll have some firm answers by Monday.
(If you can't tell, the toy is a pirate in a boat with a parrot and treasure as well as a soldier with a cannon. Great for the imagination. Of course, now Estie is convinced that she's sick and needs her blood taken).
