Lev helped organize our mishloach manot (the food gifts we gave to our friends on Purim) in the bags that Tante Ruchel sent us. I had planned to make simple gifts of carrot and celery sticks with peanut butter and hamentaschen. Lev informed me that there had to be wine, so we bought individual grape juices and added them into the bags. Then he decided we needed chocolate, so chocolates were added along with chocolate gold coins with flags and parasols stuck in them.

Jake came over this morning with his parents and all the kids got a mishloach manot from Savta Bubbie.

Lenny's Treasure Box was full of candy and can now be used as a tzedakah box! Chaya Bracha was a bit suspicious of Jake and feared he might steal her candy, but he kept to his own box.

We went to the hospital to hand out mishloach manot and, of course, the kids ended up receiving tons of candy as well! They spent about an hour walking around the hospital with a group of people handing out treat bags, wishing people a happy Purim and a speedy recovery. The high point was that one of the couples we were with was dressed as Mary Poppins and Burt. Should have gotten a picture- Lev was star struck. They even sung 'Step In Time' for him.

After the hospital we came home and Chaya Bracha crashed while Lev and Estie watched movies for a super long time. Estie's friend from school, Ami, came to bring her mishloach manot and she was super excited. Lev's friend Naomi came to visit him as well. As of now, all of the candy has been hidden. B"H we got them to eat a bit of real food in between cupcakes and candy at a Purim meal later in the day.
