Here is Lev in his new Ohio State sweatshirt. Thanks Grandpa Paul and Nana Susan! We don't have nearly enough OSU stuff in the house. How cute are his peyos sticking out of the hood?
Papa Rob and Nama are in town. Lev showed Papa that he can spell all of the names of his favorite trains.
Lev got to be Aba shel Shabbat at school, to play the part of the Daddy at their weekly mock-Shabbat celebration. He was so excited. He got to make the blessing over the wine and to pass out juice and a special treat to all of the other kids. There was also an Ima shel Shabbat, a Shabbat Mommy, but I can't figure out what her name is even though Lev has told me about a billion times. She lit Shabbat candles for everyone
This Shabbat was Chaya Bracha's Kiddush/Lunch. It's tons of blessings to make a meal that is connected to Shabbat in honor of a girl. A lot of women who have not found their mates will make thimeselves a kiddush if their parents never did in hopes of bringing down blessings. Lucky for Chaya Bracha, her Mommy and Daddy made one for her now! Aunt Tanya and Savta Bubbie helped bake a bunch of trays of treats and deli rolls and it gave Mommy an excuse to clean out the freezer.
Chaya Bracha modeling her dress for the Kiddush. Estie had a matching one.

Aunt Tanya visited to help Mommy get things on order on Friday. The big even was on Shabbat, but the more you can get done ahead of time, the better!
Savta Bubbie swung by today to reconnect with the kiddies :)
Sometimes I am in shock that Lev is such a big boy! This is his sports day outfit. They have sports every Sunday at school and he insists on wearing the Phys.Ed. zip-up. It has the number 54 on the back and Lev says people can see his number while he's being sporty. The crown is a cut-out of the walls of the Old City.
