Lev made challah at school today. Bubbie Chana said that the kids helped with the ingredients, taking a portion out to be burn (it symbolizes the food we would take out and give the the Cohanim/priests during the time of the Temple) and braided them with the help of a teacher, but really were a part of the whole process. He was so excited to show me when I picked him up and he held it next to him in the stroller. We called Daddy on the phone and told him all about it. Once Shalom came home from work and saw the beautiful challah, there was no chance at actually saving it for Shabbat. B"H Lev happily shared it with Estie.
