Science Museum

Lev woke up from his nap (too short- only an hour) in a sour mood. He wanted to lie down on his couch and to be left alone, but Estie wouldn't hear of it. She kept climbing all over him. At first he got angry, then I explained to him that she just wanted to hug him, and he got excited.

Once Lev's mood improved, we set off for the science museum. Lev's friend Clara's parents are always telling me that it's only a 20 minute walk and tons of fun. I didn't believe them, but it really was only a 20 minute walk! Granted, it's up hill both ways, but I survived. Plus, it's air conditioned inside. We stayed for an hour, but along with the walking time, it was the perfect afternoon filler.

Lev enjoyed turning the pedals and gears. He held his own against the rude, older Israeli kids who tried to push him out of the way for a turn. He pushed them back and stared them down.

Estie also enjoyed the museum Lev being lifted on the pulleys
B"H it was a super crowded day, or I might have had to do the pulling to lift him up! Luckily, there were enough older kids to do it for me.
The fantasy of all little boys- shelves of guys. He couldn't touch them, but he certainly enjoyed looking at them.
This set up had balls going in all directions
Another sliding ball experiment

Lev loved pushing the fan around to watch the ball 'fly'

Ice creams for the walk home! And a cookie for Estie
