We were lucky enough to spend some time with Pierce and Barcin this evening, as well as Shalom's friends Kendra and her fiancee. Unfortunately, I think the travel and heat finally caught up with Shalom and he had to call it a night rather early. The good news- we got back to the hotel room and I caught Lev talking to me sweetly in his sleep.

Shalom and Pierce have been friends since they were aobut 10-years-old. How lucky are we to be able to share this special occasion with him? Their plan is to be in the US for a few years and then back to Turkey, so Shalom will always have a friend nearby (it was a bit over 2 hours to get here and not too expensive, considering how expensive things are these days)
