Simchat Torah

On Simchat Torah we celebrate the end of the yearly Torah reading cycle. Lev enjoyed dancing with his Daddy in synagogue and was so tired out that he napped for 3 hours yesterday! Last night there was a sort of Simchat Torah afterparty at the synagogue next door to us and Lev could hear the music. He pulled out his tambourine and danced around until we took him over there. Unfortunately, the music was pretty loud, and we didn't want any damaged eardrums, so we only stayed a little while- but long enough to get a goody bag (which Mommy and Daddy ate once Lev went to sleep). Mommy firgured that the self-portrait was the only way she was going to prove to Lev that she was around when he was a baby, since there's no photo evidence of it.
Today, Lev helped Mommy clean the house big time and then prayed with Daddy. Then we went to take family pictures and Lev was so tuckered out that he slept during the cab ride home.
