Lev Feeds Himself

So, we have a new thing where Lev feeds himself (I help when there's a bit too much food going up his sleeves or nose). I got him the bib he's wearing today. It covers just about all it can. Lev actually had chicken for the first time on Friday night. It didn't go over too well. He loved the eating part, it was just the digesting part that had him up from 12:30am-4:30am in a bit of a panic. shalom thinks he's a vegetarian like his mom. More likely he was just learning how to handle a new type of food. Chicken is pretty different than fruits, vegetables and grains, which is what he's had up until now.
Lev had another first- his first immunization. Yup, these granola parents waited as long as they felt they could. He got immunized for polio because we'd like to take him to the beach and swim classes and were told that he should really be immunized before going in the water or eating sand. Next week- tetanus and diptheria. We're into breaking them up rather than pumping him full of tons of chemicals and diseases all at once.
