I put the arc on Lev's bouncy chair and, for the firt time, he recognized that it was there. He saw the purple, pink and green giraffe and reached out for it. When he realized he was touching it, he pulled back his arm, thought about what had happened and then reached out again. This is the first time Lev has interacted with a toy, though we all know he's amazing at interacting with people. How exciting! He's now so tired out from talking to the giraffe that he needs a nap.
Yesterday, Lev met his cousin (through Shalom), Brook, who recently moved to Israel. Also pictured are Shalom and I at our anniversary dinner. Lev wasn't so interested in taking our picture, so we had to ask the waitress to help us out.
