Sukkot, So Far

There is a reason why so many people love this holiday; the main mitzva is to hang out with your family and friends for a week, preferably in a sukka.
Yesterday, my friend, Mushkie, came in from Jerusalem, with her four kids. We walked to town, got the kids treats at the shekel shop, art projects at the Max Stock, and then sat outside of a coffee shop for over an hour, while the kids worked on their projects.
Then, we walked home, had lunch, and made edible sukkas, in the sukka ;)

This morning, it stormed. These were the two rain coats I could find. Luckily, Simcha is man enough to carry off being a lady bug.

Because of the morning rain, most outdoor activities  were closed, so I took the younger three to Cage Gregg, and then to the rides at the  strip mall, which were open, thank goodness

After the rides, we picked up the big kids and Daddy at the train station (more on that in a moment), everyone showered and pajamaed up, and watched a movie.

While I was with the younger kids, Lev was discovering the world of a card game, called Magic. Shalom took him to Tel Aviv to a Magic camp, where he learned to play the game. Yesterday, he took a friend, and today, Estie went along.

Yesterday, Estie had her Sukkot hike, with her youth group  they went to the Tavor Mountain
