We have been doing our best to soak up all of the sun and heat we've been getting. The trick is to go out right after school when it's sunny and warm and be home by 4:30/5:00 when it's dark and chilly.
The other day, we walked to town to check out the pogo sticks at the toy store. Lev really wants one, but they are rather expensive and it's technically still winter, so not so much outdoor time to bounce around. Anyway, the owner of the shop had a rather old pogo stick that's not really sell-able anymore and he loaned it to Lev to try out for a day, just to see if he actually wants one. Lev did enjoy his pogo experience (and made sure that we returned it the next day), and we told him that perhaps he will get one in the spring.
The first installment of their Channuka gift from Savta Bubbie arrived in the mail yesterday- yay for Highlights :)
We had to pass time while Lev and Estie were doing homework one afternoon, so Chaya Bracha and Michael Shlomo glued eyes to everything we could find outside.
Leap Frog finally started to produce their Fridge Phoenix again!!! Mommy was so excited that she had to order one. (Our old one is from when Lev was a year old and is missing some letters at this point).
Yesterday we were at the park for almost three hours. I had to tear them away. Lev made about ten new friends, Estie climbed and jumped the whole time, and Chaya, Doobies and Simcha played with their friends from gan.
