Yom HaZikaron

Today is Memorial Day in Israel, when we honor our fallen soldiers.  Tomorrow is Independence Day. The schools combine them into one day of respect (bringing packages for current soldiers, lighting memorial candles and saying psalms) and celebration (singing and dancing). The kids go to schools dressed in blue and white, just like the flag. Here are my little Israelis.
