Busy Bees

Between potty training and the heat wave we had this week, it's been pretty busy. Lev learned how to 'pee on walls,' which led him to try peeing standing up with his potty. We are working on teaching aim. So far, Dovbear Buttons and Mommy have been the casualties of these lessons. One went into the washing machine and one went to the sink. I'd love to switch him to our toilet, but our bathroom has no room for a stool! I have learned that city kids go when and where they have to go and you can pick it up and put it in the trash just like dog owners are meant to.
Estie had a tough transition back to gan, but she's getting used to separation from Lev. She's usually asleep in her stroller when I pick her up and the first thing she says upon awakening is 'Levy?'
Here is Lev doing some body art with the face painting crayons on Sunday when we had art day. They loved all of the new crayons and stuff that Aunt Ruth sent them Estie is making a silly 'cheese' face at me. I've been told that she's a pretty funny kid. When she gets to the top of the slide at the park she stands and screams for a few moments. It's pretty funny to watch/listen to her get it all out.

Here he's added tatoos and stickers. We didn't warn Bubbie about these additions to his pigmentation and she was a bit shocked to find red and black marks all over his tummy.
Estie modeling the new tutu that GG Sophie sent her. She has a tutu dance. You'll have to visit if you want to see it.

Estie is a climber- big time. She can climb all the ladders at the park, which is great, but there are some slides that a 17 month old shouldn't be able to reach.

Greated at the bottom of the slide with a kiss from Yehudah.
